Associate Data Technician

Litigation Hosting Support Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Field customer calls, answer emails, create/ resolve trouble tickets related to hosting.
  • Technical Help desk, helping customers with technical issues related to hosting and domain names.
  • Participation in the customer design, build, testing, training and go-live activities.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact and application advisor to the customer.
  • Function as Tier 2 support for customers.
  • Engagement with customer implementation projects beginning with the integrated test rounds through to end of the contract.
  • Monitors all client-reported problems that are filed for assigned applications.
  • Building load files and then importing them into hosting processing tool.
  • Quality control checks of the processed data. Utilizing a text editing tool to modify load files created by eDiscovery hosting platforms.
  • Customer relationship management; ability to understand a customers business and how application hosting contributes to the delivery of that product or service.
  • Perform migrations of customer data as needed to maintain balanced loads on systems.
  • Technical configuration; data loading, extraction, and transformation using a variety of tools.

Qualifications:

  • Superior communication skills required
  • Knowledge of litigation workflow, review tools, and or other practice support related items
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, HTML required.
  • Familiar with Windows 2003 Server and Terminal Services for Administration
  • Knowledge of MS-SQL and or Oracle helpful
  • Previous experience in a web hosting helpdesk is desired.
  • Familiarity with the Windows operating system, text editors and basic networking skills preferred.
  • B.S. in technology-related field preferred. 
  • 1 year experience with maintaining and working with Windows desktop and laptop computers, as well as Windows 2000 and 2003 servers

Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from initial set-up to delivery of the finished product, with a focus on client relations and communication.
  • Work closely with client to set up projects, including price quotes, project turnaround estimates, and job specifications.
  • Continuously track multiple projects within each department to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with production manager to ensure proper allocation of resources based on project deadlines.
  • Serve as a liaison between RVM, the production manger, and the client.
  • Communicate frequently with client to troubleshoot project issues and provide status updates.

Qualifications:

Software Developer-Technical Support

The candidate will work in a team environment using cutting edge tools and technologies. They will have the opportunity to work on a continuous development project as well as other smaller projects. The main project consists of an electronic data discovery package that is operated by skilled internal professionals. The ability to produce quality work in a fast paced, production oriented environment is a must.

Requirements

  • Programming professional with 4+ years of application development experience.

Lotus Notes Developer

Qualifications:

  • Extracting metadata and full text from email attachments and other documents.
  • Detecting duplicates in emails and attachments using Lotus Notes internal features, by MD 5 Hash, Universal ID, and content, as well as using Lotus Notes APIs to control extraction and other processes externally from client applications.
  • Automating printing process from within the Lotus Notes environment and other process’s externally from non lotus applications, while preserving the formatting of the email messages, attachments, and other items.
  • Working knowledge of permissions in Lotus Notes, encrypted documents, administration, and lotus notes id files.
  • Extensive knowledge of Lotus Notes 6.5, Lotus Notes API, Lotus notes Scripts, Client-Server environment with MS Access 2000+, MS SQL Server 2000+, and Visual Basic 6 is required.
  • Understanding of .NET platform and knowledge of C# is a big plus.

Associate Data Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Create production directory structures on Network Servers.
  • Load files from incoming media into production directory structure.
  • Run quality control procedures on incoming and outgoing Media.
  • Generate IPRO load files (.LFP).
  • Create and remove IPRO production databases.
  • Setup production environment to perform the following production processing:
    • OCR
    • Sequential Image Endorsement
    • Convert image formats, e.g.; Tiff to PDF
  • Update production logs.
  • Communicate issues in preparation of conversion projects to the Technical Services Manager.
  • Provide updates throughout the day to Technical Services Manager and Project Managers regarding the status of deliverables to be produced.
  • Setup incoming media for EDP Services.
  • Perform EDP Services using RVM EDP tools.
  • Perform Quality check procedures on EDP produced data and .TIF files.
  • Perform simple data conversion using MS Access.
  • Create final production Media.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):

  • Working knowledge of any of the following -IPRO, Concordance and Summation load file formats. (highly desirable)
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft Windows and Office Application experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Access.
  • Good working knowledge of Access/VBA.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server a plus (but not mandatory).
  • Working knowledge of litigation imaging software (i.e. IPRO, Informatik Reformat, Concordance, Summation etc.) or image processing experience.
  • Production environment experience a plus.
  • Should be detail-oriented.
  • Must anticipate, recognize, and execute solutions to problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
