RVM Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated software tester. At RVM the software tester will have the opportunity to utilize creative testing techniques in an effort to provide verification and validation of results achieved in a proprietary software package and suite of customized modules.

Essential Job Functions

• Compilation of formal plans for the testing of projects and documentation of procedures
• Creation of testing modules or pre-coded scripts for testing purposes
• Use of regression testing techniques
• Testing of invalid user input and data input
• Stress testing and performance analysis
• Provide user level feedback of software being tested to Development group
• Assist with identification of requirements
• Produce reports indicating issues
• Participation in team building activities
• Participate in weekly Development Meetings

Requirements

• Previous experience in a software testing environment
• Superior documentation skills
• Some basic scripting and coding experience for input and output validation
• Experience with SQL 2005/2008 specifically with writing queries and scripts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2003/2007
• Ability to work well under pressure, communicate clearly, and work with limited guidance
