Greg Cancilla is the Director of Forensics at RVM Enterprises, Inc. He is responsible for the preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of digital data. Mr. Cancilla, EnCE, ACE is a Certified Computer Forensic Engineer and has completed computer forensics training programs from renowned organizations, such as New Technologies, Access Data, and Guidance Software (the developers of EnCase Forensics Software) and many others.
As a certified forensic engineer, Greg has performed countless digital forensics investigations since entering the field in 2003. Mr. Cancilla has offered testimonies in numerous cases, including presenting a key piece of evidence in Ronald Luri v. Republic Services, Inc., et al., which rendered the largest single plaintiff verdict in the State of Ohio’s history.
A testament to Mr. Cancilla’s expertise, he was named “Best Individual Expert Witness – Technology” for the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey in 2013. Mr. Cancilla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Toledo. Greg is in demand as a speaker at industry conferences throughout the nation and has contributed works to notable publications. He is associated with the Federal Bureau of Investigations InfraGard and the High Technology Investigation Association.
Greg believes in giving back to the community and joins RVM in its support of diversity issues and in the importance of mentorship and education. He is also a strong supporter of Easter Seals, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Make a Wish Foundation.
